Finishing solutions developer Horizon, represented in ANZ by Currie Group, will have its biggest drupa stand yet at this year’s expo, with several new systems to be shown.
The 1658sqm stand in Hall 6 will be 15 per cent bigger than the 2016 version, and will run under the theme Change the Focus. The company will be shipping some 440 pieces of equipment to drupa.
The Horizon stand will feature a trio of ‘smart’ book solutions, including a plowfold book production system, and inline cutsheet printer and book production system, and a cut and stack smart binding system. Horizon has been developing the ‘Smart Factory’ concept in Japan, to take account of labour shortages and demand for faster turnaround times.
Also on the stand will be a new iCE Stitchliner Mark V, and other new solutions which the company will reveal at the show. There will also be a new case bind book block production system, a B1 folder and a palletising robot on the stand.
A host of other equipment, including a flexible packaging system, and the rotary die cutting RD-N4055 with a new stacking unit will also be demonstrated.
Horizon print finishing equipment has become the market leader in Australia and New Zealand.
