Dscoop Cebu Participants Explore the Future of Creative Printing



Cebu served as the picturesque backdrop for an incredible two days of networking, learning and local culture at the Dscoop Cebu Summit, held Aug. 29-30 in the Philippines. The event was a spectacular success that drew bout 70 participants.

 

The event focused on “The Future of Creative Printing." Attendees explored how creativity can revolutionize multiple aspects of their businesses.

 

"What an incredible experience!" said HP's Hanny Gan, a leader in brand innovation and strategic partnerships, who also spoke at the event. "I had the opportunity to meet many amazing partners and customers, exchanging ideas, experiences, and insights on how we can all push the boundaries of creativity and innovation."

 

"I'm happy to be part of this Summit," said Leia Anne Carunungan, Marketing Head for Manila-based Nitto Printing, which hosted a site visit for some of the event's international attendees. "This is where I get to meet other creative people, and some industry partners as well. I am confident that when I go back to Manila, I will bring the information, the learnings that I have gathered from this event, to bring more value to our clients."

 

The event's speakers shared different ways creativity leads to advancement and business growth, and helped attendees maximize their potential:

 

- TikTok's Paige Espiritu, a specialist in social media optimization and content programming

- HP's Guy Bibi, an expert in AI and creative tools for printing

- FDP Food International's Dan David Jr., who oversees sales and marketing, operational excellence and more for the company behind the globally-recognized 7D Dried Mangoes

- Spring Water's Michael Embrestro, who shared the brand's sustainability journey and tips

- HP's Hanny Gan, who shared "Blue Ocean Thinking" concepts for creative business models

- Dr. Wilona Annunciation, psychologist and wellness expert

- Arnon Goldman, General Manager, Asia Pacific, at HP

 

"I got to meet a lot of new friends, and at the same time I got to learn new, interesting concepts," said Thomas Marshall Ang of Licton Industrial Corporation.

 

Participants also celebrated creative printing product samples nominated for the Print Pride Awards. Congratulations to winners Southern Impact, Sharna Beck, Denver Annunication, Laurensius Candra and Mark Carunungan.

Plans are now underway for a 2025 event in Thailand.
