Leading print finishing equipment manufacturer, A B Graphic International (ABG), has announced a significant presence at this year’s Labelexpo Americas 2024, occupying an impressive 4,000 ft² stand, and an additional 640 ft² stand within the FlexPack Factory. As they celebrate their 70th anniversary this year, the exhibition is a pivotal event for ABG providing a prime opportunity to showcase its extensive range of solutions and strengthen connections with its valued customers. The company is exhibiting on booths 3223 and 6786.
During the event at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago on 10-12 September, ABG will showcase 12 cutting-edge machines from all its manufacturing sites, representing the full breadth of ABG’s portfolio. Several of these solutions will demonstrate new innovations designed with ABG’s customer needs in mind, with a particular focus on automation. ABG Connect, the company's automated workflow solution, will be showcased on their flagship Digicon Series 3, giving customers a glimpse of how automation can revolutionise their production process with automated job changeovers. Other solutions showcasing automation include the SRI3 and Vectra AutoSet, illustrating fully automated setups to make production processes easier and more efficient with reduced operator input.
ABG is committed to developing technology that meets the needs of its customers both now and in the future. The company's new NSU Lite offers the efficiency of ABG’s non-stop technology in an entry-level model. It has a more compact footprint and is driven by a brake system. The NSU Lite can be seen running alongside ABG’s latest Converter platform and Vectra ECTR Turret Rewinder, demonstrating how they can provide a complete solution from roll to finished product. Additionally, their new patented technology offers automatic waste stripping to reduce downtime, as the machine will no longer need to stop to change a roll of waste material.
Alongside the main stand, ABG will also have a significant presence at the FlexPack Factory on booth 6786. Here they will showcase solutions from their shrink sleeve range, including the Turret Seaming Rewinder (TSR) featuring its innovative smart wheel technology, and a Doctoring Machine (DR) for the inspection and doctoring of shrink sleeve and flexible packaging. Joining ABG on the booth will be Baker Labels, one of their valued customers, who will share their expertise on pouches and flexible packaging, providing real-world insights and applications.
Alongside the 12 solutions on show, ABG will have a team of experts on hand to discuss their RFID offerings, as well as provide in-depth knowledge on how their solutions can add value and increase productivity for customers.
Al Spendlow, ABG’s MD for North America, said: "Labelexpo Americas 2024 represents a fantastic opportunity for us to not only showcase our comprehensive range of solutions but also to engage directly with our customers. We are excited to demonstrate the innovations that have been driving our growth and success in the market.”
Looking ahead, ABG will be holding an open house event at its facility in Elgin in 2025. This event will feature a large new demo space, offering an exclusive look at the latest advancements and innovations from ABG. Further details to follow later in the year.
